Description

This one-hour training provides administrators with an introductory overview of the LGBT population, with an emphasis on awareness, inclusivity, and culturally responsive care practices. The course is designed to enhance administrator knowledge and sensitivity in working with diverse populations within licensed care settings.


Certification:
This course satisfies the training requirements set forth by Community Care Licensing and qualifies for Adult Residential Facility (ARF), Group Home (GH), Short-Term Residential Therapeutic Program (STRTP), and Residential Care Facility for the Elderly (RCFE) recertification hours.
